The project is located in a busy financial district and is positioned as the first real estate project for a developer. The location enjoys a premium presence on the street which helped reimagine the commercial developed as a mixed use with retail function on the lower floors creating an engaging street presence on the road. The change in the brief was deliberate to engage at street level and also avoid becoming a commercial gated community. Twin towers have historically been associated with an iconic image and presence, a similar approach was adopted here to have an impactful presence and also improved light and ventilation to the commercial floor plate.
The lower retail floors with food & beverage engage directly and actively with the city, opening to the public and all the landscaping created amphitheatre and garden spaces for common public use. While the towers are vertical built enclosures, the built verticality was broken with outdoor relief spaces keeping in mind the current pandemic situation. The staggering relief spaces give green outdoor breakout space on each of the floors.
